Normally, we think of marble as a metamorphic rock that embodies the platonic idea of sculpture; the beginning and the end. But what if one tried to investigate its limitations and manufacturing process for just a moment? What would we get if we treated it like an extrusion material, almost as if it were aluminium, copper, etc? Thats just what Niko Koronis did, defying the production and materiality of marble. Living matter that becomes a vehicle, Bruchi is the result of a total aesthetic subtraction C no superfluous decorations, an archaic shape for an abstract light.
